  • Pre-ballet is eligible to audition for our professional company's Christmas performance of "Light Has Come". Be sure to sign up for this class separately! Only students enrolled in a ballet class can sign up for this additional class. Auditions will be Wednesday, September 4, and rehearsals will be on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:00 through December.

  • This class is for students who wish to participate in our annual professional Christmas production! "Light Has Come" is by audition only, and only students in: Pre-Ballet, Ballet IA, IB, IC, IIA, IIB, and III are eligible to audition for this class.

    Details:

    Enrollment in this class requires 1 year of prior ballet training, a commitment to participate in the Christmas Production December 20-22, 2024, consistent attendance, and attendance of extra rehearsals November 9th from 1-3pm and December 7th from 1-3pm.

    Enrollment in this class does not guarantee casting in the Light Has Come production. You will need to attend the audition on Wed, Sept 4th from 5:00-6:00pm. If you are not cast, you be will credited the fee for this class and not charged the extra tuition for the semester.

    Students will perform in the first act of the ballet and get to watch the Ballet Magnificat! Company dancers perform the second act in the audience for FREE!

    Tuition:

    The cost of this class is a one-time $55 production fee and an additional $15 per month for tuition September-December.

    Dress Code:

    Every student should wear the same attire as they do for their ballet classes.

UPPER SCHOOL CLASSES

    PBT Details:

    PBT stands for Progressing Ballet Technique. Ballet IIB will take a thirty minute PBT class before their technique class on Tuesdays! Progressing Ballet Technique is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program that has been designed to enhance students' technique by focusing on training the muscle memory required in each exercise in all forms of dance. It is a unique training system using ballet-technique specific exercises to train skill acquisition in a graded and progressive manner from junior through to advanced levels. PBT helps teachers around the world prepare their students to receive the strength they need to achieve their personal best.

    Other Class Options for IIB

    This class is also eligible for our Intermediate Contemporary class from 7:15-8:15 on Thursdays. Students who enroll in Contemporary will have an additional recital piece in the spring!

    Our once a month Hip Hop class is also a fun option for IIB! This class is only $10 a month and meets the last Friday of every month.

    All the classes listed above are required and included in tuition. Students in Ballet IV are automatically included in the professional company's Christmas production- "Light Has Come".     Beginner (Beginning Ballet, IA, IB, and IC or by placement)- Monday 5:30-6:15

    Intermediate (Teen Ballet, Ballet IIA, IIB, & III or by placement)- Thursday 7:15-8:15

    Advanced (Ballet IVA/B or by placement)- included with ballet schedule & tuition for Ballet IVA/B- Wednesday 4:30-6:00

    Details:

    Contemporary classes are open to anyone! You do not have to be enrolled in ballet to participate.

    Tuition:

    Beginner: $30/month if not enrolled in ballet, $20/month if already enrolled for ballet classes (Emma Grace Hyche)

    Intermediate: $40/month if not enrolled in ballet, $30/month if already enrolled for ballet classes (Mandy King)

    Advanced: $50 a month if not enrolled in ballet, no additional charge if enrolled Ballet IVA/B (Joy Tripp)

    Dress Code for Girls:

    • Any color leotard and tights

    • Shorts

    • Ballet shoes or barefoot per the teacher

    • Hair up or pulled partway up (not completely down)

    Dress Code for Boys:

    • Any solid color t-shirt

    • Black shorts (gym shorts work well)

    • Black ballet shoes with black socks

  • Class Times:

    Intermediate (Teen Ballet, Ballet IIA & IIB or by placement)- Last Friday of every month excluding holidays! 4:15-5:15 (Mandy King)

ADULT BALLET CLASSES

No matter your level of experience, adult ballet classes provide a fun and challenging workout!

For adults ages 18 and up

    Fee is non-refundable for the six week session. Due upon registration

    Sign up for the twelve week session and your last two weeks are free!
